Phone Call

Last night while getting ready for bed my phone rang & it was the local hospital. Thinking that J was calling me, which he does sometimes because of his job, I answered it in a different voice. When a female voice returned my hi, I first thought what happened to J. As the call proceeded this girl told me her name, which I didn't catch. Anyway she asked me if I was the one who wanted another baby. I told her yes. She continued to ask questions and I answered them. She told me to just come to the hospital when she had the baby & just take it. I told her to keep us informed and let us know what is going on. She then hung up. I had no idea what really just happened or if she was currently in labor. I call J and he told me to call the OB department at the hospital. They stated they had no patients at the time. I am guessing this girl just found out she was pregnant and she decided to give it up for adoption. I have no idea where she is, or who she is. I don't know when she...

Homestudy Ready

If you have stumbled across this blog or if you have followed it from our Facebook, we are so glad you stopped by. I want this blog to be a story of our 2nd adoption journey. If you want to read about our first journey check out justinloripalmer.blogspot.com. I wanted to continue this story on that blog, but for some reason it wouldn't allow me to post any more. An update from before: T, who we brought home at 4 days old, is now 4 years old and a ball of energy. We love having him and we know that God chose him for our family because it could not have been a better fit. Titus has enjoyed being the only child, but has been asking for a baby sister or brother. We have enjoyed Titus, but we know he needs a sibling to share all his adventures with. In April we sent in our first set of paperwork for our homestudy, by the middle of my we were homestudy approved for our next adoption!! YAY!!! This time went so much quicker because our social worker was getting out of the business ...
